Relatives of Shrestha vandalised the microbus as well as obstructed the Benighat road section for a while.

DHADING: A man was seriously injured in a microbus accident at Benighat of Dhading along the Prithvi Highway on Monday morning .

The microbus (Ga 1 Kha 3974) which was heading towards Pokhara from Kathmandu hit the a motorcycle (Ba 33 Pa 675) coming from the opposite direction, and injured the biker Sanjay Shrestha ( 21) of Benighat in Dhading.

Shrestha was taken to Kathmandu for treatment, informed Benighat Police Post.

After the accident, relatives of Shrestha vandalised the microbus as well as obstructed the Benighat road section for a while demanding stern actions against the driver and proper treatment of the victim.

Traffic movement resumed after police took the driver under control.

Benighat Bazaar has turned into a busy area after it was connected with the Prithvi Highway.
