DHADING: Two persons sustained serious injuries when a motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a truck in Pida of Dhading on Sunday morning.

Motorcyclist Ramhari Bhatta and pillion-rider Anup Pandey of Syaldung, Gorkha were injured in the accident.

The truck (Lu 1 Ka 977) heading toward Banepa of Kavrepalanchok from Bhairahawa of Rupandehi hit the bike (Ba 46 Pa 2039) at Pokharekhola, Pida-2 along the Prithvi Highway at around 8 am today.

Police Inspector Narayan Chimauriya said the injured have been referred to Kathmandu for further treatment.

Area Police Post, Gajuri confiscated the truck and arrested its driver for investigation.
