DHADING: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bamdev Gautam on Saturday said both Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN-UML will cooperate with each other in implementing plans of the joint government.

Speaking at the inaugural function of the CPN-UML’s Dhading Constituency 1’s convention in Salyankot of the district, Minister Gautam said his party would not obstruct any plan and programme of the government.

Gautam, who is also the Vice-Chairman of CPN-UML, also assured to address demands of peace, security, education and road made by people of the constituency.

He also said the government is working hard to implement the constitution within a year and conduct the local elections by mid-June. To get those tasks done, the government would try to incorporate other parties in the cabinet, added Gautam.

Constituent Assembly (CA) members representing the district – Rajendra Pandey, Guru Prasad Burlakoti and Dhan Bahadur Ale – had also spoken at the function.
