DHADING: In a bid to ease the banking woes of people in Dhading district, KIST Bank Ltd. has initiated electric cheque clearing system, facilitating the service recipients by processing the cheques of the banks that do not have branch office in Dhading.

It is however mandatory for the individuals to have an account with KIST Bank if they want to process a cheque issued with any other bank, said Rajesh Dhakal, Manager at the KIST Bank’s Dhadingbesi branch.

The new cheque clearing system will be free of cost and can be assessed in a single working day, Dhakal added.

The KIST Bank’s new system has come as a huge respite to the locals who had to come to Kathmandu or branches in other surrounding districts to process their cheques.
