DHADING: Dhading police’s ‘Highway Crime Control Operation Flash Out-2’ concluded today.

Dhading police had launched the second phase of the operation about a fortnight ago to curb a wide range of crimes and unlawful activities occurring on the highways and other parts of the district.

Informing about the efficacy of the operation at a press meet in the district today, police informed of the collection of Rs 180,000 revenue for the state from vehicles flouting rules on the highway.

Police also informed that they destroyed around 5,000 litres of hooch at different liquor outlets and destroyed its raw materials.

“We had launched the operation keeping in view the increasing incidents of unlawful activities, accidents and the likes in the district and the operation was largely successful,” said DSP Ashok Singh of Dhading.
